Yesterday (3rd November), the Republic was lucky enough to meet it's initial fundraising goal of £800. We want to thank everyone who donated, and thanks to everyone who supported the attempt by sharing and boosting our posts.
The first stretch goal will be announced in the next few weeks, and will likely be in the region of £1200, a 50% increase on the original goal amount.
These stretch goals will allow us to upgrade our table solutions, fund BritizenCon-specific projects, purchase thank-you gifts and perhaps, even start a beer fund!
